Student SupportTracker can track services provided to students in programs in addition to your McKinney-Vento / homelessness support initiatives.
Set-Up
Select Settings in your lefthand navigation menu
Click Registration Periods.
To edit a Registration Period, click the pencil icon.
The option to Enable Enrolled Programs is on Step 3: Enable Enrolled Programs of the Edit Registration Period form. On Step 1, click Next Step to move on to Step 2.
Click Next Step.
In Step 3, use the dropdown menu to select Yes to Enable Enrolled Programs. This setting allows specific users to add a participant to a program other than McKinney-Vento.
A list of Enrolled Programs will appear below a Search field. This list is the accepted list from the Common Education Data Standards (CEDS). If you would like to track participation in a different program in SST, contact your Transact support specialist.
Check the boxes next to the Programs you would like to track in SST. You must check at least one if you have set the Enable Enrolled Programs field to 'Yes'.
When completed, click Save Registration Period.
Enrolling a Student into an Enrolled Program
To mark a participant as being a participant in an Enrolled Program, first locate their record
Locate the participant in your List of Participants
There are several tools to navigate your list of participants.
Click the pencil icon to open the participant's record.
Navigate to the Registration Information section of the participant's record.
To add the participant to an Enrolled Program, click the pencil icon for the appropriate Registration Period.
The option to Add Enrolled Programs to a student's Registration Record is in Step 2: Enrolled Programs. Click Next Step to get to Step 2.
To add enrollment to a Program, click on + Enrolled Programs.
Select one of the previously set up Enrolled Programs. Change the Enrolled Start and End Date as appropriate.
Click Save Registration Information.
If the participant is enrolled in multiple programs, click +Add Enrolled Programs, and complete the form with the appropriate information for each additional program. Additional programs can also be added later.
On the Participant’s Registration Information screen, the selected Enrolled Program(s) will appear.
Reporting
To report on participants by enrolled program, several reports, including the Participant Demographics Report and the Registration History report, will include a filter for Enrolled Programs.
