How to Define Funders

Kathryn Johnson
Kathryn Johnson
Funders are names of organizations, grants or other sources of funding that support your program. Funders can be associated with activities so data about the funders investment in your program can be shared, such as how many people were impacted by the activities they helped support.

Adding A Funder

To define a new Funder, click Organizations in your left-hand navigation menu.

Funders must be defined for each Institution/District that they support.

Click the > next to the System Level organization to open the list of established Institution/District Groups.

Then click the > next to the Institution/District Group where the Institution/District you want to define the funder for resides. In the example below, this Institution/District Group is "Central Region." This will show a list of institutions/Districts in that group.

Click the ... to the right of the desired Institution/District (in this example, Hillandale Public Schools After School Program) and select Add Funder from the menu that appears.

Fill out the information requested on the Add Funder form in Step 1. Any field marked with a red asterisk is required. The form can only be submitted once all required information is complete.

In Step 2, first select one or more Active Reporting Terms for this Funder.

Then, check which site(s) this funder will support.

Lastly, if this Funder will support the program for more than one reporting term, and if future reporting terms have been established, click + Reporting Term to associate this funder with another Reporting Term as well as the sites it will support in that new reporting term.

When done, click Save Funder
